Certification Programs

Members of The Department of Economic Informatics and Cybernetics coordinate extra-curricular certification programs in:

  • Cisco Networks – Cisco Networking Academy Program
  • Java Programming – Cisco Networking Academy Program

The proficiency courses last between 16 and 40 hours. Admission requires a tax. All students are allowed to participate in the programs. More information can be obtained on the AES Cisco Academy Web page, http://cisco.ase.ro/

 

Proficiency Programs for High School Teachers

 

Confirmation as a high school teacher program

The candidate has to have graduated the Faculty of ECSI, any specialization, a master’s degree and to have taught for at least five years. The program consists of courses in computer science, psychology of education and pedagogy, with the duration of 60 hours, over two weeks.

The Economic Informatics courses (electronic calculus systems and computer programming) last 20 hours.  At the end of the program, the students have to pass a written and oral examination.

 

2nd degree for the high school teachers program

The candidate has to have obtained the previous degree (confirmation) at least five years in advance of taking this program. The program consists of courses in computer science, cybernetics and statistics, given in 60 hours, for two weeks.

The Economic Informatics courses (computer operating systems, software engineering, databases, information system design) are given in 20 hours, by the faculty of the Department of Economic Informatics and end with a written and oral examination.

 

1st degree for the high school teachers program

The candidate has to have obtained the previous degree at least three or four years before. The program lasts two years and ends with the public presentation of a methodical-scientific thesis.

 

Periodic proficiency in Economic Informatics of the high school teachers program

The program is organized in answer to the request of The Bucharest House of Teachers, which provides a certificate of graduation. The candidate has to be a high-school teacher that coordinates a computer science subject.
