The International Conference on Informatics in Economy
Every year the Department of Economic Informatics and Cybernetics organizes an International Conference on Economic Informatics. The 1st Conference took place on May 1993. Since 2011 the event takes place every year.
The 11th International Conference on Informatics in Economy, IE 2012 will take place on 10 – 11 May 2012 and promotes research results in Business Informatics and related Computer Science topics.

The International Conference Knowledge Management – Project, Systems and Technologies
The mission of the International Conferences on Knowledge Management is to facilitate communication between international multidisciplinary teams. The Conference provides a forum for the discussion of topics related to the development of knowledge management and related disciplines. Academics, researchers, industrialists and professionals are encouraged to participate and contribute with their knowledge and experience to the conference.

SECITC – International Conference on Security for Information Technology and Communications
The SECITC 2012 conference will take place on 31 May – 1 June 2012 at the National Military Center in Bucharest. The conference main theme is IT Security Eco-System and promotes research results in:
- Cryptographic Algorithms and Protocols
- Security Technologies for IT&C
- Information Security Management
This conference aims to bring together the IT security scientists, administrators, councilors, experts, teachers, graduate students and companies and representatives to share and to discuss theoretical and practical knowledge in the scientific environment.
The conference papers will be published in the printed volume of the Conference Proceedings and selected papers from the conference will be considered for publication in the prestigious journals indexed in international databases, such as:

We would like to invite you to share your expertise, your experience, and your new research results in IT&C Security. You also have chance to discuss about your works with the editors of supporting international journals in order to publish an extended format.
SECITC international conference is being organized every year and it publishes papers written in English. SECITC has been organized by the IT&C Security Master since 2006. For the second edition, which took place in 2007, ISM has extended the collaboration with another university through a strategic partnership with InfoSec master program from MTA – Military Technical Academy from Bucharest. ISM & InfoSec now organize this conference in Bucharest together and in November 2011, the 4th edition of the SECITC conference will take place. The scope of SECITC is to bring together specialists that are researching, developing solutions or practitioners in the field of information and communications security. The friendly atmosphere of the meetings will provide a communication oriented environment that will help delegates from different areas to exchange ideas and to get feedback for their work.
The event offers to engineers, software developers, mathematicians and scientists, the possibilities to establish new collaborations within current and future research projects, to present research results, to establish academic collaborations, to link the university research with the industry.
